Hangars Extended to
make wider, higher doors
New doors
on existing structures. We at HangarDoors.com build new doors onto
existing or new hangars. Usually this is because the existing
Aircraft Hangar door is worn out, or too small, or will not open,
or looks too messy.
A new Aircraft Door of almost any type can be
built onto an existing hangar. The door may use the existing
structure or may be a new and totally independent Aircraft Door
Frame.
When
building a new Airplane Hangar door onto an existing hangar, it is
usually better to build it bigger. If possible the end should be
extended longer, wider and higher, it is in effect a new hangar.
It may dramatically increase the usefulness of your hangar for a
very small extra outlay.
The door itself is very expensive
compared to the plain hangar roof and walls. So,
if we are going to the trouble and expense of building a new door,
it makes sense to add some hangar roof and hangar walls on as
well. At little extra cost, you get a bigger and better aircraft
hangar.
